Department of Radiology Make an Appointment Ask a Question Refer Patient Debra Dyer, MD Professor and Chair What do we do? The Department of Radiology at National Jewish Health performs imaging studies and provides interpretations of those studies. The results of our imaging tests help your doctors make accurate and timely diagnoses. We have a highly experienced team of radiology technologists and radiologists. There is not another place that can equal our team’s expertise in imaging the chest. Our radiologists are physicians with specialized expertise in image interpretation. They interpret (read) all imaging studies of the chest including chest (x-rays, chest CT scans, PET/CT scans, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies. We are known around the world for our expertise in thoracic imaging and can identify disease that others have missed. Why National Jewish Health? We image more lungs than anyone else. This narrow focus and the close working relationship with all of our clinical doctors, means you are in the best hands for finding an accurate diagnosis. Knowing the correct diagnosis leads to more effective treatment and better outcomes. Our department currently comprises seven on-site fellowship trained cardiothoracic radiologists. In addition, we have 20 consultant radiologists in pediatric radiology, neuroradiology and musculoskeletal radiology. Debra S. Dyer, MD, FACR + × Debra S.
